Line of Shoes. . . .

So, every time my fiancee and I drive home to Willmar to visit his family, we always drive by a long row of miscellaneous shoes all hung on poles in a nice row.

Its the coolest thing I've ever seen on the side of a road and had always wanted to stop and take some photos . . . .so I finally did!! I love random things like this!

It's a wrap!

3 days. That's how long I have until my final critique and class day of my college career. It's amazing how fast the past four years went. I can still remember moving into the dorms my freshman year and beginning my freshman art courses. I will finally become an official college graduate in less than 2 weeks and then I'm finally on my own! But only for 2 weeks, because come May 28th, I will be getting MARRIED! :)

So as my final post as a college student,  I would like to show my favorite scanned flower I've taken for my senior project. I love the composition and bright yellow of the image, as well as the sweet detail of the stems and petals.

Owen & Krystal!

I had the honor of photographing Owen and Krystal's engagement photos today in downtown Fargo and it was so incredibly fun. It was a little chilly with the wind but we had a blast and I was very happy with how their photos turned out!

Taylor is THE cutest niece ever!

I can't claim this picture as my own but it is the most adorable photo of my niece! I love her smile - she is such a happy little girl!

Senior BA Exhibit II opens March 7th, 2011!

"Color: Of Old and New"
As a part of my last semester of college, it is required that every senior in the art department displays some of their work during the BA Exhibit and I just finished putting my pieces up today for the second exhibit which opens March 7th, 2011 in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts gallery at MSU-Moorhead. The exhibit will be up until March 29th, with the formal reception on March 10th form 4pm - 6pm. So if your in the area, stop by and check out my work up on display! To the right is a photo I took today after installing my series "Color: Of Old and New". So excited!
